      <description>&lt;![CDATA[it began between #tiohtià:ke and #kjipuktuk—&#xA;between bodies, between losses,&#xA;within and against the structures that were never meant to hold us,&#xA;and those we made to hold each other anyway.&#xA;&#xA;this project moves through lands that remain unceded:&#xA;kanien’kehá:ka territory. mi’kma’ki.&#xA;these names are reminders, not repairs.&#xA;they mark the ground as contested,&#xA;alive beneath occupation.&#xA;&#xA;i move here as a black diasporic person,&#xA;carried by displacement and extraction,&#xA;shaped by capture and the refusal to stay captured.&#xA;relation is the only claim i can make—&#xA;relation, tension, accountability.&#xA;&#xA;the cities i pass through were raised by empire.&#xA;i know them as ruins still pretending to be nations.&#xA;&#xA;drift follows what cannot be stabilized,&#xA;what slips through record,&#xA;what returns in spite of erasure.&#xA;&#xA;this page is an act of remembering where i stand&#xA;and what that standing costs.]]&gt;</description>
